Interns:

​

We offer short-term visiting programs at NYU Shanghai. Applicants may have a diverse education background, from senior undergraduate students to graduate students to post-graduate fellows. Each visiting program lasts from 3 months to one year, upon mutual agreement. NYU Shanghai covers costs such as flight tickets and accommodation, among others. Every visitor is assigned a project and the goal is that she/he could make substantial progress and possibly write a research paper at the end of the program. Depending on the progress, the work at NYU Shanghai can be extended into a long-term project.

Graduate students (Ph.D):

​

We are now recruiting 1-2 graduate students in our group.

​

As of 2015, NYU Shanghai offers a global Ph.D graduate program in physics. The application for this program is via the standard graduate school application of NYU, where you select "Shanghai track". Students in the Shanghai track spend one year at NYU in New York for course work before joining NYU Shanghai full time to work in our group on their Ph.D. thesis research. While in NYU Shanghai, our students maintain close ties with New York and receive an NYU Ph.D. in Physics. For more information, please check the following page.
