Yuhao joined the group in June 2019.  He is currently an postdoctor supervised by Prof. Jiangping Hu at IOP. He obtained his doctoral degree from Peking University in 2019.

 

Yuhao's research interests include using first-principles calculations and mean field calculations to study emergent phenomena in solids and capturing simple physics in them. For now, his biggest interest is in theoretical exploration about new high-Tc superconductors.

Yuewen joined the group in March, 2017.  He is currently a PhD candidate and is co-supervised by Prof. Chungang Duan at East China Normal University. Prior to joining the group, he was a research assistant at Japan Fine Ceramics Center collaborating with Dr. Craig Fisher and Dr. Hiroki Moriwake.

 

Yuewen's research interests include using first-principles calculations and materials simulation to discover, design and develop functional materials such as multiferroics, ferroelectrics, complex oxide interfaces, photovoltaic materials, and superconductors.

Chengliang joined the group in October 2017.  He is currently an MSc candidate and is co-supervised by Prof. Yue Chen at the University of Hong Kong. Prior to joining the group, he obtained his BS degree from Hainan University in 2017.

 

Chengliang's research interests lie in simulating materials properties, such as calculating crystal structures and comparing stabilities of different materials in (like ferroelectric materials) in different situations. Meanwhile, he is also interested in engineering drawing and modeling ."

Xin’s research interests include using the Pair Distribution Function to develop methodologies for solving the ‘nanostructure problem’, and doing computational material science.
